House Blessing Ritual
Is An Ancient Ritual Called Siri Jyoti
Create this Yantra to bring abundance, blessings and space clearing. This is a wonderful ritual to enjoy when you move into a new home, want to celebrate a birth or a marriage or bring your family and community together for an uplifting experience.
Not only is the physical space purified by this ceremony, each participant also benefits greatly from the ritual and the good company. The beauty of the flowers in this configuration re-instates positivity and optimism. One’s senses, mind and mood are balanced and the abundance generated during the ritual continues to ripple into your lives in the months to come.
Siri Jyoti [TRANSLATES] Siri = Divine/God + Jyoti = Light/Wealth
This ritual translates as the Wealth of God coming to form. The knowledge comes to you. Once you experience this outer form of the auspicious Yantra (Sacred Geometric Shape) it awakens the dormant energy within you that recognizes the light and infinite potential in all things. The Siri Jyoti Ritual brings abundance to your home and community.
The Stages of The Ritual:
Drawing the Yantra outline and decorating the Yantra with flowers and colored sand.
After lighting candles, the group will sit in a circle around the Yantra.
Chanting, meditation and contemplation are followed by sharing some sweet treats.
Will there be Chanting?
Yes! There will be periods of guided mantras and moments of silence.
The sounds embedded in the Yantra come to life with the Mantras and awaken the dormant creative energy within you.
Yantra+Mantra = Tantra.

In the words of Sri Amritananda, who created this ritual as an abbreviation of a longer chakra balancing ceremony:
“By shedding unnecessary alienation from each other, we glow emitting rainbow shades of light and love. I have created a simplified ritual from ancient wisdom called Srividya, which has stood the test of time. It is a good gift we can offer to ourselves. Everyone is welcome!”
The Siri Jyoti Ritual is part of the Sri Vidya Tradition of Tantra. Sarah was taught these teachings by Sri Amritananda Saraswati at Devipuram. When he left his body Sarah began practicing these rituals and deepening her knowledge through study with Venu Syama, a close student of Sri Amritananda, both in India and on Venu Syama’s visits to the USA.
