Each Yantra Print is made from an Original Yantra painting by Sarah Tomlinson. These are printed using high quality inks on beautiful watercolor paper in collaboration with Ray Henders at www.rayographix.com. They look, and feel, like the painting itself. Small Prints are 12 x 12". Large Prints are 20 x20".

Bagla Mukhi Mantra: HLEEM

The Goddess Bagla Mukhi is the eighth Mahavidya (Great Wisdom Goddess) and is called on when justice is sought. Bagla, or Bagala, as she is sometimes called, has a hypnotic power that can defeat enemies, stupefy her opponents, and stun her adversaries. Do you need to call on some of these special powers? Worshipping Bagla Mukhi with this Yantra and Mantra awakens this power within you.
Bagla Mukhi asserts such conviction with her presence and her word that she can win over her audience and harness the good. She has the power to dissolve negativity allowing obstacles to be conquered. Through the stillness that arises in meditation she radiates a power that can cultivate an opposite state: sadness into happiness, loss into gain, defeat into victory, ignorance or misconception into truth. This re-alignment with light and truth allows balance to be re-established in the Universe.
In her iconography we see her depicted holding the tongue of her opponent, she is wielding a club in her other hand. Here she has the power to stop his ill-speaking and ill-acting. As one becomes more adept at controlling their own energy through meditation and pranayama, one can also effect another’s. The purpose here is to see the majesty of the subtle body and the divine play of energy, nature and reality. Bagla resides at the soft palate in the mouth and aligns with the organs of taste, sound, smell and sight. From this location one can master the senses and gain knowledge of the function of prana in the body.
